    Sightseeing today includes a guided tasting walk through trendy Gracia, one of the city's liveliest neighborhoods, and visits to Gaudi's unconventional, still unfinished la Sagrada Familia, and his whimsical Parc Guell, a UNESCO World Heritage Site of colorful buildings embellished with glass and ceramic mosaics, sculpted animals and creative furnishings. Spend the rest of the day at leisure.

    Day 3

    Enjoy a private visit to the Palau de la Musica Catalana, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, that truly is a palace of music. Continue exploring the city on a choice of excursions that includes a walking tour through medieval Barri Gotic or a visit to Gaudi's modernist La Pedera. Embark your Windstar yacht this afternoon.

    Day 4

    Disembark after breakfast for a guided walking tour of Palma. Visit the 14th-century Bellver Castle and the Gothic Cathedral, La Seu; its interior was remodeled by Antoni Gaudi and it's considered to be one of the most breathtaking buildings in all of Spain. After lunch, drive to the charming village of Valldemossa for a walking tour of its tree-lined cobbled lanes past stout stone houses and grand villas. Return to your yacht for the captain's welcome reception, followed by dinner.

    Day 6

    Your ship arrives in Ameria this morning for a scenic drive to the 13th-century Moorish Alhambra Palace and the Generalife gardens in Granada. After a guided tour and lunch, return to your ship and set sail for Malaga.

    Day 7

    The land of dancing Andalucian horses and sherry welcomes you ashore in Malaga and invites yoou inside a typical manor for a private horse show and a tapas tasting. Spend the afternoon as you choose: enjoy a panoramic tour of Malaga, highlighted by visits to 14th-century Gibralfaro Castle, and see Plaza Merced, the birthplace of Pable Picasso and the ruins of 8th-century Alcazaba (Moorish castle). Or view the impressive collection of works by Pablo Picasso at the Picasso Museum, dedicated to honoring his artistic legacy. Time at leisure in Malaga invites you to explore as you wish.

    Day 8

    Just two-and-a-half square miles, the limestone Rock of Gibraltar rises out of the sea to a height of 1,396 feet and is often referred to as the gateway to the Mediterranean. Explore the British-ruled Rock today as you visit the sites of this legendary place, including streets steeped in British traditions, St. Michael's Cave and monkeys. Set sail for the beautiful city of Seville this afternoon.

    Day 9

    Head up to the deck this morning for your ship's arrival in the port of Seville, standing regally on the banks of the Rio Guadalquivir. Guided exploration on shore includes visits to the Palacio de San Telmo built as a university in 1682 to train ships' pilots, navigators and high ranking officers; 13th-century Moorish Torre del Oro, towering over the port; the traditional buildings, reputed to be one of Spain's finest; and the tobacco factory of Carmen fame. Walk through the arcaded Neo-classical Plaze de Spana followed by free time to spend as you wish. A choice of afternoon visits includes a tour of the Gothic Cathedral to see the tomb believed to be that of Christopher Columbus or an opportunity to go inside Real Alcazar, Seville's Royal Palace. Your afternoon ashore concludes with a special dance performance art the Museo del Baile Flamenco, resonating with the soul of Andalucia.

    Disembark in Portimao for a sightseeing drive through the Algarve countryside. See the spectacular caves, natural tunnels and rock pillars of Ponta da Piedade; lakeside Lagos, resplendent with 8th-century Moorish architecture and the sandy coves of Praia da Rocha. An afternoon tasting at an award-winning wine estate includes a guided tour of the winery and wine cellar.

    Day 11

    Disembark ship in Lisbon this morning and head to Sintra, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, for a visit to the 11th-century Royal Palace. Continue to the seaside fishing village of Cascais, its bay dotted with brightly colored boats, for lunch as you wish. Back in Lisbon, settle into your hotel for a two-night stay. Spend the rest of the day exploring the sights of Lisbon as you wish.

    A vision of carefully planned, elegant streets steeped in history, Lisbon's city center welcomes with an 18th-century ambiance that bears witness to its days of glory during the Discovery Age. A guided tour of the city this morning showcases Edward VII Park, the downtown Baixia area, and a visit to Mosteiro dos Jeronimos, built with "pepper money" profits from the spice trade. Visit the Maritime Museum, chronicling the history of Portugal's pioneering role in sea exploration, and enjoy a photo stop at the Monument to the Discoveries along the Tagus River. Your afternoon is free to explore Lisbon as you please. We invite you to join us tonight for an exclusive farewell evening with a cocktail reception and dinner.
