Experience the Antarctic
Getting out into the thick of things is such a vital component of polar adventuring that we’ve made it a priority. The ‘Expedition’ is equipped with a full-service Zodiac platform for easy disembarking, a mudroom to keep your stuff warm and dry when you’re not using it, and a library stocked wtih guidebooks. We’ll even throw in a pair of waterproof boots so you don’t have to pack your own and a stylish parka that’s yours to keep.
Getting off the ship to explore foreign waters and shores is the entire point of an expedition, right? We employ our own fleet of Zodiac boats and a purpose-built embarkation platform to get you ashore quickly and comfortably. And with fewer passengers per trip, we have the freedom to land wherever we like.
Experience the sounds of heaving ice, the fresh scent of the sea, and the crisp air of Antarctica in the polar night by camping on the ice itself. All the required gear – including tents and sleeping bags – is provided, so all you have to do is lie back and enjoy it.
Arctic & Antarctic Kayaking
Nothing connects you to the polar regions quite like paddling across them yourself from a low-slung kayak. Kayaking excursions are dependent on the weather, but we’ll try our best to get you out on the water as much as possible. (Come with a working knowledge of strokes, entries and exits.)
